I have been chipping away at all the small details over the last couple weeks. Lots of small things that add to the overall progress, but sometimes I spend hours in the garage, then come inside and wonder what I … Continue reading →

About this site..

I have always wanted a Shelby Cobra Roadster. This year I decided that building a Factory Five Replica Roadster would be a fun meaningful project. I have two boys who are very into cars and I think are as excited as I am.

I ordered the car on May 29th, 2013. The necessary parts to get started arrived in Sept 2013.

This site is a build site that will allow you to follow along with the process, trials and tribulations that I encounter along the way.

If you know me, and want to come check out the car in person, drop me a note.

I don't know how long it will take, I figure about 2 years. It is more about the journey, and building my dream car than it is about getting the car done to be able to drive.

Wish me luck!

Rob

Update: I finished the car in June 2015 and it was without a doubt the best project I have ever taken on.
